St. John’s is committed to providing a vibrant Gospel ministry to the young adults and families of our congregation–and to friends in the community as well.
Pastor Justin will be working closely with young adults and families (college-age students through about age 40) in ways that bring the love and truth of God in Jesus Christ to the lives of his people. What the shape of all this will be is still to be revealed, but our young adults and families can expect to walk together with Christ in fellowship, Christian growth, service and good times. Any number of things, like small group studies to big group events, community service to social events, are possible.
Please take time to be involved, knowing that you are always welcome and that by this ministry the Lord will bless you.
A MONTHLY BIBLE STUDY begins on Sunday, November 17. On that day at 3pm all young adults and their families are invited to Pastor Justin’s home for the first session of a monthly Bible Study and discussion titled The Art of Neighboring. Each session will be about an hour long and include light snacks. So the adults can fully participate in the study and discussion, the children will be supervised. (If you have older children, or know of anyone who does and who would be willing to watch/play with the younger kids please let Pastor Justin know.) There is no need to bring anything other than a Bible. If you have questions, please talk to Pastor Justin or email him at firstname.lastname@example.org. Pastor Justin and Katrina live at 5420 Stoddard St SW in High Forest.
