–The Chili Cook-off is a contest all members are invited to enter. Simply bring a crock-pot of your favorite chili. Those who attend will sample the entries and vote on their favorite. A “golden ladle” will be awarded to first place. Also gift cards will be awarded for first, second and third place. Sign-up to enter on the sheet on the usher’s stand in the narthex or contact the church office.
— The Bean Bag Tournament is designed to be fun. People, over the age of 12, sign-up that day by noon and then get randomly paired with other members to play a few games. Those who win the most games get put in a “winner’s bracket” to play for first and second place prizes. We will also have activities and a board just for kids 12 years old and under.
— Lunch will also be served by the youth group. A freewill donation will be taken to go towards the Youth Group for FUN activities and the National Youth Gathering in New Orleans in 2025.
